Loki is a handsome fella who was first thought to be an owned cat that was allowed to roam the community in which he was found, but it soon became apparent that he had been abandoned.  In the middle of that succession of cold spells, no less. People tsk-tsked about his plight but no one stepped up to give him shelter from the weather.  Thankfully one particularly caring person reached out to us for help, and we got him indoors at the first opportunity.  Poor guy was very frightened at first, for all that he was striding around that neighborhood like he was the mayor, spraying every vertifical surface he came across.  But a trip to the vet fixed the need to spray and a quiet, caring foster home restored his confidence.

 

Loki settled into his foster home fairly quickly.  The foster folks describe him as a “very very chill, sweet, gentle, cuddly dude” as he hangs about with them while they watch television and potter about the house. He just wants lap cuddles and attention. We believe Loki would do best as either an only cat or together with one other cat-friendly feline in a quiet home environment with no kids.  The vet has guestimated him to be young’ish, perhaps 3-5 years old.
