The Jazz Singers: Nina, Duke, Louis and Ella

The Jazz Singers were lucky enough to be born indoors, in a warm and safe environment, their birth monitored closely their rescuer, one of our trusted volunteers.  A week or two before their birth, their mama cat, Peggy, was picked up from behind an apartment building in Dartmouth, where she was found taking refuge in a shelter near one of our feeding locations. We were very thankful to have come across her when we did, as sweet, friendly Peggy was very clearly abandoned to her fate and winter was very much upon us at the time.

Nina is the runt of the litter, otherwise known as little Miss Independent. She was the first to do everything-walk, climb out of the basket, escape the room, etc. She is very personable and friendly. Nina purrs very easily to show she is happy.

Louis is the cuddler of the bunch. He likes to sleep in the crook of your arm at night. He purrs easily to show his affection. A Good personality and sweet little boy.

Duke is a very cute little boy that purrs when ever you scratch the crook of his tail. He enjoys interaction with other pets, (cats and dogs.) He is happy kitten that is very laid-back and an easy-going.

Ella is the look-alike of her mother. Along with being beautiful she is a shy, gentle kitten. When Ella goes missing, you can almost always find her in a dresser -drawer fast a sleep keeping warm!

As of January 28th, the Jazz Singers are now fully vetted - spayed/neutered, tested for disease, microchipped, vaccinated and treated for parasites - and looking for their forever homes.  Please understand that we expect the kittens to be adopted either in pairs or to homes with at least another young'ish cat for companionship.

We ask for a minimum $175 donation for each of our rescued cats. A charitable tax receipt will be issued.
