Sheridan

Sheridan is a very lucky girl. Living outside in and around the university area of Halifax, a lovely couple did what they could to care for her but were unable to bring her in as they already had a number of cats of their own but made sure to provide her with food, water and even an outdoor heated cat condo in their backyard to protect her from the cold Nova Scotian winter.

In January, shortly after installing the cat condo, they noticed fresh tracks leading into it. When they went to go examine who was residing in the condo, they discovered not only Sheridan but also her four surviving newborn kittens (only three made it in the end).

Sheridan has thrived since being brought into our care. She is a tiny girl, probably only a year old herself, and is extremely affectionate and loves nothing more than a good cuddle with her foster mom. Her kittens have already been adopted out. She's got one of the loudest purrs we've ever heard and will often start to purr in anticipation of being pet. And even though she is quite a small cat with a thin frame, our girl has a HUGE appetite and will eat just about anything you give her.

She will do best as an only cat as she does get easily excitable, particularly when other animals are around.  Sheridan has been spayed, tested for feline disease and treated for parasites.

We ask for a minimum $140 donation for each of our rescued cats. A charitable tax receipt will be issued.
