Saigon
Saigon was rescued together with her two kittens from the Musquodoboit Valley where many cats are abandoned to live or die. They were found living in a dirty shed, where Saigon could at least shelter her babies from the elements. As the little family was mostly white in colouring, their fur was filthy but at the same time, it made it easy to see the flea dirt from their flea infestation, something that galvanized us into quick action to get them treated. After a period of recovery and lots of good food and tender care, Saigon has morphed into the beautiful cat seen in the pictures.
Saigon is a classic tortie in that she has lots of 'tude (tortitude). This means that she makes it very clear when she likes or dislikes something, hissing and making a fuss if things don't go her way or when she gets nervous. And yet she is also a very sweet and affectionate cat who loves to climb aboard your lap for some lovins. She would definitely do best in a quiet home with a mature adult or two to indulge her need for attention. She loves having other cats around, so would do well with a feline companion or two.
Saigon has received "the works" at our vet clinic; where she has been spayed, microchipped, tested (negative) for disease, vaccinated and treated for parasites.
We ask for a minimum $160 donation for each of our rescued cats. A charitable tax receipt will be issued.
