Oslo

Oslo is a dream kitten in that he is very affectionate and friendly and beautiful to boot. Many ginger tabbies are seen as the "blondes" of the rescue world and tend to be easily adopted for their looks alone. He was picked up in the Musquodoboit area where so many strays fall between the cracks of the HRM Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) Program and the domain of the rescue groups that operate in the region. He was caught "commando-style", meaning he was so young that he was easily snatched up by hand, which made it all the easier to socialize him to humans. This occurred almost three weeks ago and we only just last week trapped the remainder of the litter (3 more) and the mama cat. Happily enough, Oslo has been living in a foster home with other kittens and adult cats for company, so he has not been deprived of kitty kompany in these early days of development.
Oslo has been fully vetted as of July 31st, meaning he has been vaccinated, neutered, microchipped, tested (negative) for disease and treated for parasites. We do ask that he go to a home with at least one other cat, preferably a young'ish one. It just isn't fair to a kitten and an older cat to be paired up, as their energy levels are poles apart.
We ask for a minimum $160 donation for each of our rescued cats. A charitable tax receipt will be issued.
