Milos & Ferrer

Milos and Ferrer were picked up, literally, from a colony on the Eastern Shore when they were only about 4 weeks of age (late August). We arrived to suss out the situation and came across these little munchkins peeking out from under an overturned wheelbarrow. Because they were still so young, it was very easy to merely reach in and pick them up, with very little resistance other than perhaps wide-eyed surprise. And also because they were so young, they ascribe mommy qualities to the resident human who feeds them, cuddles them and offers them toys to play. Milos (short-hair) and Ferrer (long-hair) are amazingly socialized little beings, who scamper around underfoot and beg to be picked up for a snuggle. Since then, we have spayed and neutered the remaining cats in the colony, including their mama cat.
Milos and Ferrer (named after the tennis players) have now been vetted, which includes their neuter, vaccination, test for disease and treatment for parasites. It is time to offer them up to a deserving adopter who will treat them as good as gold, which is only fitting. They will reward their adopter for many years to come with the devotion that can only come from adoring cats. Because they are so bonded, we are really hoping to find them a home together, where they can continue to refine their wrestling skills with the occasional entangling of limbs for snuggle-puddles between bouts.
We ask for a minimum $140 donation for each of our rescued cats. A charitable tax receipt will be issued.
