Matrix & Maverick (Mercedes has been adopted)

These three gorgeous and healthy tabby kittens led us on quite the merry chase for three weeks or more before we were able to trap them together with their feral mama.  They were first spotted as itty bitty kittens at a business located in Burnside, and while our trappers were there within 2-3 hours following notification, they were nowhere to be seen.  Their mama had moved them almost immediately after the staff first sighted them behind the property.  We spent a lot of time hanging out hoping for another sighting and monitoring a wildlife camera to see what time of day they appeared. There was no regularity to their occasional appearances and we were getting very frustrated.  Then one day, as one of our trappers were en route to work, she spotted these guys plus another kitten at the feeding station and immediately went into action, work be damned! (welcome to our world).

While we didn't get all four on this one try, we pledged to follow up with the remaining kitten; which we did yet another 3 weeks later, when we discovered there were not just one but two remaining kittens.  A litter of five!

[Note: Moen (Moe) and Miata (Mia) are the subject of another bio on our website, as they are lagging behind a little in their socialization and currently living in a separate foster home.  See "Kitten Tales" for more information on these last two tabby kittens. Another note: Mama cat, a second mama cat and daddy cat were also subsequently trapped, and no more kittens will be born to this little family unit.]

These lucky kittens are the darlings of their foster parents.  Please read below for their take on their personalities.

Mercedes, Maverick and Matrix. These three are just little bundles of joy. Each of them so different in so many ways but at the same time so alike. You can definately tell they are siblings. Each one of them at any given time play fighting each other then annoying one another then cuddling up together. Pretty much like any other siblings.

Matrix (marble tabby) is also quite shy and timid to human interaction but like Mercedes he is coming round day by day. Matrix is so handsome and he knows it. He struts around as if go say " oh yeah, you know I'm good looking ". It's true, his looks alone could charm the birds out of the trees. He loves treats. In fact treats are the key, shake that bag of treats and he is like putty in your hands.
Maverick (marble tabby). He is the biggest of the three and inherited all the confidence. He is first to greet you at the door and last to leave your side. This little guy loves human interaction. If he's not sniffing you or up on your shoulder he is on your lap constantly. He loves snuggles and OMG does he love his food. He can hear a tin of cat food being opened from a mile away, I kid you not.
All in all these three beauty's would be an absolute pleasure in any forever home. I am sure we would ideally have them all adopted together but I also believe that if there was another cat in the home, they could be adopted individually. I am positive that they would adapt.

Matrix and Mercedes  have been tested for feline disease, treated for parasites and neutered.

We ask for a minimum $140 donation for each of our rescued cats. A charitable tax receipt will be issued.
