Mallory
Mallory is the remaining "explorer" kitten who is now 8 months of age. She is a feisty, opinionated little thing who absolutely adores the company of other cats and romps around with those who will deign to play with her. Because of this, we are looking to place her in a home with at least one other young'ish cat for companionship. And because she is still a tad skittish even after all these months in foster care, we think she would do best in a quiet home with little action going on around her.
Mallory has tested negative for disease (feline leukemia and FIV) and she has been spayed, microchipped and treated for parasites. A healthy little gal!
The story of her capture is included below:
Mallory was one of four kittens dubbed the "explorers" picked up behind a large apartment complex, where their mama cat had stashed them under some rocks in a ravine. They were thankfully spotted quite early in the game, when one of the tenants from the vantage point of an upper floor apartment saw them playing. With a little strategy, we were able to trap all the kittens in one evening, followed soon thereafter by their mama. We heaved a big sigh of relief that we got them so early, as this makes their socialization a much simpler and faster process. It also helped that their mama was a super sweet and friendly girlie.
We ask for a minimum $175 donation for each of our rescued cats. A charitable tax receipt will be issued.
