Krishna & Ginko

These wonderful little kittens are bonded and looking for a home together, if at all possible.  Krishna, the short-haired black fella, and Ginko, the long-haired ginger fella, were rescued together with two other littermates from under a shed out in Whites Lake.  The homeowner noticed them one day, out and about, and wondered why he didn't see a mama cat, especially since they were still so tiny.  Thankfully he chose to put out some food for them and they chowed right down.  Still wondering at whether there was a mama cat in the picture, the man continued to put out food, but only once a day.  By the time we learned of the situation and went in for the rescue, the poor little tykes were very thin, living on only one meal a day. Hungry kittens are easily trapped, so this was something we could easily remedy. We did continue to leave out food daily for a week afterward in hopes the mama cat was around but not easily seen, but the food remained uneaten.  All things considered, these four kittens were very lucky to have been noticed by the homeowner at all, as they were obviously orphaned.

Krishna and Ginko were placed together in a foster home, and their foster mom offered the following description:
"Ginko is the more dominant one, only to say that he is nine times out of ten the instigator when it comes to play fighting, but Krishna is right there with him once they get going. They are practically inseparable. Both boys love to cuddle – humans and each other. They sleep on the bed with us and I often wake up to them curled up in my arms or even sleeping right on my chest. They're both curious, but overall well behaved for kittens. Chasing each other to burn some energy is a daily routine, but usually not a nightly one. They also love their toys, and could play for hours with a cat toy wand. That being said, they also looove their cat naps and we usually find them cuddled in the coziest of corners when we return home!
These two will be hard to say goodbye to for sure!"

Krishna and Ginko have been neutered, vaccinated, tested (negative) for disease, and treated for parasites as part of our routine vet care program.  They are guestimated to be almost four months in age as of mid-October.  To repeat our policy, we ask that our kittens be adopted either in pairs (especially in this instance) or to a home with at least one other young'ish cat for companionship to help them in their ongoing social development.

We ask for a minimum $175 donation for each of our rescued cats. A charitable tax receipt will be issued.
