Kobe

Kobe was originally brought to our attention by a kind lady who was feeding him often when he'd hang around on her stoop. Neighbours noted that he was seen at a gentleman's home but was 'kicked out' after peeing in the home because he wasn't neutered. This is too often the case - a male cat who is neutered young doesn't learn the spraying behaviour that comes with marking territory! However, Kobe wasn't given that care and was tossed out to fend on his own for an entire winter. How cruel!
After rescue, Kobe was a bit shy but eventually came out of his shell to flourish in foster care. His foster mum writes us a bit about Kobe below:
"Kobe has a lot of energy. He loves to chase all types of toys. He considers socks, headphones, and the feet sticking out from under the covers as prey for him to catch. Kobe is very social and is happy to greet anyone at the front door. He doesn’t like to be alone for very long and follows his favourite people from room to room. He likes to be underfoot in case an opportunity to play comes up. He can sleep anywhere but loves to stretch out at the end of the couch or the bed once he’s sure the humans of his house have settled in for a while. He loves to eat and doesn’t understand why he can’t have any cheese, cereal, or ice cream – especially when he waits so patiently.
Kobe is very social and loves having a family to play with. Kobe can get excited when playing and will often give what we call, 'love bites' which are just little nibbles, but he might not make a great playmate for small children."
We ask for a minimum $160 donation for each of our rescued cats. A charitable tax receipt will be issued.
