Heineken & Guinness

Normally, we kick off our bios with harrowing tales of how we've rescued the cats we are profiling, but in this case, we struck it just in time, and these wee babes had the enormous fortune of being born in the home of one of our core volunteers.  This means that these kittens have had the very best of care, right from the start.  Their mama was rescued just prior to their birth on July 11th, and they've only just been weened, so they've had all the benefits of nursing from a healthy, friendly mama from the git-go.  This was supplemented with good quality kitten food and timely parasite treatments as a matter of course.  They've also received their vaccinations, been tested for feline leukemia and just recently spayed/neutered, so they are ready to roll.

Here's a quick run-down of the kittens:
  • Heineken is a male black tuxedo, and the brute of the litter right from the start. He has the outsize personality to match his size; outgoing and boisterous, ready to rumble with his littermates at any provocation.
  • Guinness is a male gray tabby, and the yin to Heinken's yang.  This dear, sweet fellow has probably taken the brunt of Heinken's energetic roughhousing, which makes him a little quieter and more laidback than his bigger bro.

Please know that we will be looking to adopt the kittens either in pairs or to a home with at least one other young'ish cat for companionship.  We regard their ongoing socialization with other cats an important developmental milestone.  The most casual browse of the internet will provide additional information on this perspective.

The kittens have been fully vetted, meaning they've been fixed (spay/neuter), vaccinated, tested (negative) for disease and treated for parasites.

Thanks for your interest!

We ask for a minimum $200 donation for each of our rescued cats. A charitable tax receipt will be issued.
