Fonda

Fonda is a bright, perky little gem of a thing. She is very social and loooves people. She greets everyone that comes through the door at her foster home. She also loves to play and will chase after just about anything that you try to tease her with. Because she is so social - always always wanting to chat and play - she would be great for someone who is truly looking for another roommate/ companion to spend time with. She is always curious and always loving, though she isn't one for cuddling - neck scratches, head pets, and a ball of string are the pathways to her little feline heart.
Fonda can be very vocal, and often meows at night. We believe this will settle down as she becomes more comfortable and gets into a new routine with her forever home. Fonda must go to a home where she will be welcome in all rooms of the house so that she doesn't feel like she's missing out. For instance, she should go to a home where sleeping on the bed next to you is a-ok!
Fonda had the good sense to turn up at the door of one of our rescuers, which indicated very clearly to us that she was abandoned in the area. She eluded capture in the early going - watching bright-eyed from a distance as the rescuer repeatedly set up the trap - but she eventually succumbed. Thankfully it happened before the nasty cold of winter set in.
Fonda is guestimated to be 2 years old. She was spayed, microchipped, tested (negative) for disease and treated for parasites, as as a matter of course.
We ask for a minimum $160 donation for each of our rescued cats. A charitable tax receipt will be issued.
