Emmylou
Are you looking for some laughs? A snuggleicious bundle of fur? We might just be able to help with that.
Emmylou was found meandering aimlessly in a residential neighborhood in Dartmouth and after a few days of repeated sightings, one of the local residents picked her up and asked us if we would take her into our rescue program. Yes-sirree!
Emmylou still has many attributes of a kitten, for all that she's 2-3 years old, when one might think she would take on more dignified airs. Rambunctious, playful, and silly, Emmylou is a high energy cat looking to get into mischief. She has a tendency to do things for attention, like climbing, knocking things over and eating houseplants. The lovely counterpoint to this is that she is an affectionate little cat, who enjoys hanging out beside you in bed and on the sofa. She also has the doglike tendency of following you around. In a word, she's adorable.
We believe Emmylou would do best in a busy home with other pets; something that offers a little stimulation to whet her appetite for action.
Emmylou has been spayed, tested for disease, treated for parasites, vaccinated and microchipped, so she is ready to roll should the right home come along.
We ask for a minimum $200 donation for each of our rescued cats. A charitable tax receipt will be issued.
