Edwin is a friendly, mellow fella who is really loving the indoor life. His foster mum fills us in:
"We have had Edwin for a couple weeks now. At first he was a bit shy and scared of us, but has quickly become comfortable with his surroundings. He can still be a bit startled and run away when you walk in the room, but generally he is very calm, relaxed and happy. He is very independent and likes his space at times. Once he warms up to you he can be very cuddly and enjoys affection.
He was a bit thin when we first got him but has started to fill out very well. He loves food and at times can beg for human food, but has never gotten into or eaten anything other than the food in his dish. He seems quite content to be inside and has never attempted to make a break for it, nor shown much interest in wanting to go outside. Overall, he is a great cat who deserves a loving home; he doesn't need too much attention to be happy, just someone to feed and water him and give him some love. I do wish I could get a cuter picture of him! He really is quite a doll! It's so hard because he's black, so the camera won't focus on him well!"
Edwin has been neutered, tested for feline disease and treated for parasites. He is approximately 3 years old.
We ask for a minimum $140 donation for each of our rescued cats. A charitable tax receipt will be issued.
