Brion
Brion and her littermates (now all adopted!) came from the South Shore. A woman moving into the area had inherited some stray cats in her back yard, and was able to corral them all into carriers for transport to the vet clinics for care. She was keeping the adults herself - bless her heart - but wanted to find homes for the kittens. There was a little fear at first that they were too old to tame, but we were able to secure the services of one of our most tried and trusted foster parents to do the deed. Here are their comments below about each of the kittens, who are now four months old.
Brion is the only white cat in this litter with a black patch on her head. She is also the only female which seems to make her the strong one. She is also the most outgoing one of the litter. She is therefore the one who seems to lead the rest of the pack into mischief and will be the first to approach you. Very inquisitive and very beautiful.
Brion loves treats and seems to have a gift of hearing the treats being opened from two floors away!
Brion has been fixed, microchipped, vaccinated and tested for disease, and treated for parasites as a matter of course. We expect our kittens to go in pairs or to a home with another youngish cat for company.
UPDATE : " Brion has come on leaps and bounds in the last couple of weeks. She is very affectionate even to the point of getting a little kiss off her if you put your face up to hers. She is very, very carefree and seems to be very happy with life. She makes you feel very at ease."
We ask for a minimum $175 donation for each of our rescued cats. A charitable tax receipt will be issued.
