Ainslee is just the sweetest thing ever! She has tolerated the carryings on of her four kittens underfoot in the foster home with little fuss, even putting up with having other cats from the home in the mix, which is unusual for a nursing mother. She loves to be petted and sooked, and of course she adores her wet food. It must have been quite a struggling getting regular meals out there as she was churning out litters of kittens. We know she had at least two litters, but the first rescuer was unable to trap Ainslee for some reason. We made sure no one was left behind.
Ainslee is a long-haired calico with extra toes, which just sweetens the pot of desirability. Mind you, the vet tells us that she has some "evil claws" in there that must be monitored and trimmed regularly to be sure they do not grow into her paw pad. Her eventual adopter will need to be comfortable trimming nails.
Ainslee has been fixed - halleluyah! - micro-chipped - at last! - treated for parasites and tested for disease - some care! - all as a matter of course. She is guestimated to be less than 5 years old, based on the condition of her teeth. Because she is so mellow and affectionate, we believe she would do well in most home environments, but we always prefer the quiet options, when possible.
We ask for a minimum $175 donation for each of our rescued cats. A charitable tax receipt will be issued.
